Bob Langrish is the famous photographer that I researched. He lives outside of the small village of Bisley, Cotswolds. His home is a 17th century barn conversion and his international business is based in Bisley, Cotswold, at a 17th century stone building, once a local courthouse.
Langrish has spent 37 years specializing in taking Equine photos. His library consists of over 400,000 pictures covering all aspects of horses, from showing to care to breeding. He is a self-taught photographer. He uses digital for all his works and uses Canon EOS 1D MK 11 cameras with lenses ranging from 16mm to 600mm.
Bob has taken pictures at six of the Olympic Games and has completely illustrated over 100 books. He also contributed to over 200 other books. HE travels to the United States of America at least 7 times a year and has traveled a couple million miles in the last 14 years for calendar photography. He adds 20,000 new images to his library annually.
Langrish takes photos of horses and is most famous for his pictures of horses running free. He works for top equestrian magazines in more than 20 countries around the world. He has a reputation of being one of the foremost international equestrian photographers in the world.
He is famous to me because he takes pictures of things that I love. Nature photos and pictures of horses are my favorite types of pictures.
